What's On

Leeds Branch meetings are usually held on the first Tuesday of the month at 19:30, we will try to wrap business up in about 90 minutes. The meetings will follow an agenda to allow business to be conducted swiftly, but they are not overly formal. We use a different venue each month and try to cover the whole Leeds area. Leeds CAMRA social events and other local CAMRA events within easy reach of Leeds will be included on this page once details are known.

There will be a presentation to The Bankers Cat for winning the Pub of the Season Autumn 2026 award. The most likely date is Tuesday 20/10/26, but this may change.

  • Pub of the Season Autumn 2026 Presentation Tuesday 20 October 2026 Bankers Cat

    Join Leeds CAMRA as it presents the Bankers Cat in Leeds city centre with their award for Pub of the Season Autumn 2026. This ever popular pub serves several beers from the Derbyshire Thornbridge Brewery and is welcoming to all. It is no stranger to winning awards but this is the first Pub of the Season win from Leeds CAMRA.

    Did you know ? The Bankers Cat has also won a Pub of the Month award back in early 2020.

  • Steel City Beer & Cider Festival 2026 Wednesday 21 – Saturday 24 October 2026 Kelham Island Museum

    The 50th Steel City Beer & Cider Festival will be taking place 21-24 October 2026. Once again the festival is being held at the atmospheric Kelham Island Museum, a venue full of character with bars, food vendors, games, live music and more spread across several areas including the upper hall, Victorian courtyard and Stone Garden.

    The bars will all together boast a range of about 200 cask ales, all of which are planned to be on sale on the first night and available until they run out, along with a list of 70 other craft beers in keg which will be on rotation. There will also be 30 different ciders and perries to try.

    There will be a programme of special talks, tours and tastings you can choose to add to your festival experience as an optional extra and these are now available to book.

  • Open Branch Committee Meeting - November 2026 Tuesday 3 November 2026 19:30 Grove Inn

    The Grove

    Leeds CAMRA monthly meeting covering a range of beer and cider related topics including Campaigns (national, regional and local), Leeds related Pub and Brewery News, nearby Events and anything else of interest. Meetings are kept brief and follow an agenda so usually finish within 90 minutes.

    Busses - Multiple busses pass nearby, City Square is 10 mins walk away.

    Trains - Leeds City Station is about 5 minutes walk if using the South entrance.

    Accessibility - Ground floor room, front right booked, step down to toilet or use side door.

    Meeting Type - a combined Branch Meeting and Committee Meeting which is Open to all CAMRA members. Non-members allowed to be present for most items but occasionally may need to leave the room for matters of confidentiality. Only CAMRA members are entitled to vote at this meeting.

  • Open Branch Committee Meeting - December 2026 Tuesday 1 December 2026 19:30 Crown Street Tap

    Crown Street Tap

    Crown Street Tap will be opening the bar just for Leeds CAMRA, probably 19:00 to 22:00. This is a fantastic gesture so let's make it worth their while and have a large turnout. Usually has at least one beer on handpull and a selection of other Talking Tides draught beers. Great selection of cans for drinking in or taking out, best bring a strong bag! Please note this is a cashless venue.

    Notification of Leeds Branch AGM

    Notice is given to all members of the Leeds CAMRA Branch that the 2027 Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 5th January 2027 at Bridge End Social at 19:30.


    As a member of Leeds CAMRA, you are invited to attend and vote in the AGM.
    The formal business of the meeting will be to:


    1. Receive Leeds CAMRA Branch accounts for the year ending 30/09/2026 from the Branch Treasurer.

    2. Hear reports from the:

    • Branch Chair
    • Treasurer
    • Membership Secretary.

    3. Appoint the following Branch officers

    • Chair
    • Vice Chair
    • Treasurer
    • Secretary
    • Membership Secretary
    • Branch Contact
    • Pub Data Co-Ordinator.

    The Annual General Meeting is quite formal without being too stuffy.

    Business for the day includes Election of Committee Members, Acceptance of Accounts and any motions for debate which Leeds members have submitted. This is your chance to shape the future of Leeds CAMRA, so only Leeds members will be entitled to vote - don't forget to bring your membership card.

    There will be a raffle on the evening in support of the Branch. Please bring some 50p and £1 coins. Tickets will be on sale before the meeting and at the interval. Raffle will be drawn at the conclusion of the meeting. At the meeting the Pub of the Year winner will be announced.

    Buses - multiple busses to Leeds city centre stop a short walk away.

    Trains - Leeds city station is about 10 minutes walk away, south entrance may be worth considering (closes at 22:00).

    Accessibility - ground floor and step free, including toilets, probably in the South Bank Room.

    Meeting Type - Annual General Meeting, only Leeds CAMRA members can vote and must bring their membership card. Non-members will need to leave the room for some agenda items.

  • Hull CAMRA Branch Beer Festival Thursday 8 – Saturday 10 April 2027 Minerva Masonic Hall

    Note - change of date to April 2027.

    Over 30 cask ales and a range of real ciders and perries. Catering will include pie & mash, hotdogs, loaded fries as well as vegetarian options.

    Free entry for CAMRA members.
