The Black Horse is an impressive corner building dating from the start of the twentieth century with a Victorian style interior. The imposing entrance on the corner of the building takes you into the main bar area with its wooden floor and array of brewery mirrors on the walls. To the left of the bar is the tap room and to the right of bar an opening leads to the stairs up to the hotel rooms and a corridor which leads to additional seating areas. There is also a large covered outside seating area. Refurbished in early 2019, the pub it is run as a partnership between Kirkstall Brewery and the Brudenell Social Club. The ornate wooden bar has a range of Kirkstall Brewery beers, changing guest cask ales and a good selection of keg beers on draught. Happy Hour Monday to Friday 5-6pm - all cask ales £3.
