Small traditional inter-war brick-built pub which dates from from 1926 and is opposite the law courts on Westgate near the Town Hall and Leeds Central Library. The pub consists of a single room with open alcoves to the left and right of the door. Along the left hand wall is the bar with a range of Timothy Taylor beers. Landlord Dark is still known by its former name Ram Tam. The decor includes black and white photographs of Leeds from times past on the walls. Beers can be purchased in third of a pint measure. Monday to Wednesday from 4pm to 6pm the price of cask ales is reduced by 10%.
