Small traditional inter-war brick-built pub which dates from from 1926 and is opposite the law courts on Westgate near the Town Hall and Leeds Central Library. The pub consists of a single room with open alcoves to the left and right of the door. Along the left hand wall is the bar with its range of Timothy Taylor beers on six handpumps. The decor includes black and white photographs of Leeds from times past on the walls. Beers can be purchased in third of a pint measure.
