      A traditional, cosy and intimate village pub. The tiled corridor leads to the small room containing the tiny corner bar with some fixed seating and multi-fuel burner to the right. The well-worn area to the left, perhaps once a separate room, that can hold a dozen people at most, has old photos of the village and many pig ornaments of various shapes and sizes. There is also a similarly sized but separate room to the right of the corridor. Under 15s are welcome until 7pm.

      Stone built pub originally built as a school in 1728. It was subsequently converted into the village pub at an unknown later date. There is a larger Lounge at the front and separate Bar behind, which is accessed via a corridor. The large outdoor seating area behind the pub is accessed via steps from the pub or without steps from the car park. There is also a separate function room and bar area called The Loft.

      The large, single open plan room has modern yet comfortable decor with a neutral colour scheme that is aimed towards diners. However, there is an area primarily for drinkers that includes settees and soft chairs. Some old pictures show the former railway line and station across the road, which is now the route of the A650. Well-behaved children are welcome until 9 pm. The paved area outside has many benches with fairy lights around the perimeter and views over the Kirklees Way and Spen Valley Heritage Trail (footpaths) that are only 200 meters away.

      This stone brick pub has seen substantial investment to create contemporary yet cosy interior and exterior areas. Low ceilings with beams are encountered inside with a small bar ahead of the front entrance that is split by a large pillar. A blackboard to the right provides a description of the cask beers. There is seating around this main room with a small area beyond that includes a ‘snug’ complete with a couple of high-backed soft chairs and small library. To the left is a sizeable raised area more likely suited to diners.

      The oldest surviving Joshua Tetley public house with a plaque on the outside to that effect. The Fleece is a stone-built pub located at the north end of Farsley. A central bar separates the comfortable front lounge from the darts and pool area to the rear. The terrace to the front and two beer garden areas to the rear provide ample outdoor drinking opportunities. Televised live sports are shown, with live music on some Saturdays and a quiz on Thursdays.

Non-members may be allowed in at the discretion of the steward when the Club is not too busy.

      One of Horsforth's oldest pubs first granted a licence in 1758. Re-opened on 23rd November 2023 as a dedicated sports venue with up to four different sports on at the same time.

      White-painted building at the bottom of Butcher Hill at the junction with Low Lane and Hawksworth Road, which has been a pub since 1868. The L-shaped bar serves a traditionally furnished single room which has many black and white photos of the Leeds area. A raised area to the right has a pool table and dartboard.       Re-opened in October 2013 with a change of name. Named after the Olympic triathlon medal winning Brownlee brothers who grew up in Horsforth. The main carpeted seating area is broken up with small walls and niches. There is also a small stone-floored drinking area.

      Former shop unit, now a one room, long and relatively narrow pub with the bar separating front and rear areas, the latter giving access to further covered seating outside. There are also a couple of tables out the front. The 5 cask ales and 10 keg beers are listed on a board opposite the bar with an emphasis on local breweries. The pumps are numbered to correspond with the board and the beer is served in multiples of both thirds and halves. The cask ales are numbered from 11 to 15. As might be expected from the name there is a wide choice of gins available with a table menu. The décor is eclectic; doors decorate one wall and the bar front, panelling another, bare brick yet another, while the floor is part tiled, part parquet. The inner front door handle is a repurposed pump handle. The toilets are in the cellar down steep stairs. There is a quiz night every Sunday and a monthly Gin and Bingo night. Close to a number of bus services and half a mile from Horsforth railway station. Children allowed until 7pm. Cask Ale Wednesdays - all local ales at £3. Card payment only.       A fine example of a two-roomed Victorian corner pub retaining some original features. Wood-floored throughout and some of the floorboards have survived two hundred years of trade. The pork pies are not to be missed. There is live music most nights from a small stage in the corner of the front room, which also features a mural on the back wall depicting many blues and rock legends and is decorated with various music memorabilia. The gentleman's toilets feature traditional porcelain units from J Duckett and Son Ltd of Burnley. A traditional four room corridor pub which retains features of historic interest. A tiled entranceway leads to two small rooms on the right and a traditional tap room with dartboard on the left. The larger rear Concert Room is an interwar addition and retains some original perimeter seating, door charge may apply to this room for some evenings. Music is a strong feature throughout the pub and some form of performance can be heard most nights, its folk club started in the early 1960s and is still going strong. Can get very busy before and after Leeds United home games.

The octagonal island bar hosts beers from all around the world, including a good range of cask ales and a very impressive array of draught Belgian beers for this side of the channel. More seating is upstairs but be careful what you are saying as the vaulted ceiling can lead to a "whispering gallery" effect at some tables!       Nineteenth century brick-built pub on a corner site overlooked by Leeds Minster (formally Leeds Parish Church). To the left there is comfy seating and you are never far from a large screen TV to catch either the sporting action or watch music videos, usually both.       Although the large stone building is imposing, the interior is comfortable and welcoming. The pub retains many original features and appears in Yorkshire's Real Heritage Pubs book. Four rooms, all with high ceilings, are accessed from the terrazzo floored central corridor. The end of the bar serves the corridor while the main part is in the main room, on the right. Here, fixed wooden seating with padding extends around the exterior walls. In the carpeted room to the front left the seating style is repeated and a fire place and bell pushes are retained. There is another room to the rear left. Beyond the stairs in the corridor is access to a room that contains a pool table and adjoins the main room though there is no direct access. Dogs are made to feel welcome.
