On Saturday 20th July 9 hardy souls made their way to the Chequers Inn at Ledsham to present the first of five blue plaques.

The plaques are being presented to the remaining five out of eight original Good Beer Guide entrants in our area from 50 years ago.

We were blessed with a fine sunny day, and good beer as we sat out in the beer garden at the rear. The photo shows the treasurer Keith presenting the award to Felix on behalf of Chequers with chair person Christine also in shot.
