The ever-popular York Beer & Cider Festival returns again to the spectacular surroundings of St Lawrence Parish Church – just near Walmgate Bar and the City Walls and within easy walking distance of the city centre. This festival, run by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), will have more beers and ciders than any other festival in Yorkshire with over 200 available plus wines, prosecco, meads and soft drinks, plus a great selection of food on site.

The festival dates are Wednesday 17 September to Saturday 20 September 2025. Saturday evening is pay-on-the-door only this year. Please note this is a cashless festival, card payments only.
